FR-08T is equipped with a audible diver-adjustable inhalation effort control. Turning it counter-clockwise will allow more airflow and turning it clockwise will decrease the airflow. It will start making the "Tick" sounds when it has been set to the maximum airflow and there is no need to go any further.
